f(x), gwsn, and red velvet are so polished and have lots of interesting details, textures, and vocal layering to their songs, and their production is top notch. where f(x) and red velvet have more diverse and experimental sounds, gwsn's discography is more cohesive. another would be dreamcatcher with their unique to k-pop sound. i also think t-ara has a nice musical direction and signature sound that is really interesting, as they are edm influenced.

what groups do you think have the most interesting sounds ?

Infinite will always be that group for me. I think they really started experimental sounds because their instrumentals are insane but not overwhelming and it somehow works so damn well for them. I love it.

SHINee. I really do feel like if you wanted to get someone into Kpop SHINee would be great because they have so many different types of songs and concepts that it would be hard to not find at least one that fits a person's taste.

I think ya need strong vocals to go wide, and a variety of em helps.
