So, I had this assignment for which I was supposed to put together a family tree that incorporated the illnesses and mental disorders of the family. You know damn well this was geared toward secular American ideals... The 2.5 kids trend.. There is no.. way.. I'm going to be able to account for my grandfather's 10 siblings and my grandmothers 16 siblings. I mean this is an assignment, not a thesis.

I could never do these assignments to what teachers were expecting, but for the opposite reason... I had zero information

what ever killed them would have been called covid the past 2 years.

nah bc they had me making people up in these type of assignments. the only family i have are my siblings and we're estranged at that.

same.. sort of. Having family who were immigrants limits the information one has access to.

Honestly, save for the last couple of decades, mental health was looked at as a Bourgois thing. My family's idea of remedies for mental irregularities includes a bottle of whiskey, or in other cases, whatever booze is available.
