I want to know if any of you experts know if the G-Idle Spinnoff song "Pop/STARS" has influenced the Kpop scene at all.

I have noticed a lot of songs this year coming out with hovering glowing lights like in the style of the Pop/Stars Music video, but what about the style? Are any of the new songs coming out borrowing from the international popularity of that song?

What about (G)Idle? Will they be learning from the success of the song and bringing it into their own music? How about the blending of Dubstep with Kpop?

Is Meyoun staying with the group now that she has become SUPER POPULAR, even being asked to return to perform the GIANTS single?

'Pop Stars' was a very popular collaboration indeed, but it hasn't influenced K-pop musically persay as parts of the structure of 'Pop Stars' already existed in K-pop. For example, Dubstep has been known to feature in K-pop quite a lot.

Since the release of 'Pop Stars', (G)I-DLE have gone with their own vibe/sound of music. Their latest comeback has been a tremendous success, and their album sales have reached over 100K. In comparison to their previous album, the difference is massive. So in the future I expect (G)I-DLE will continue to be influenced by their own vibe/sound.

As for the follow up 'Giants' single ('Giants' and 'Pop Stars' are promotional material for the game 'League of Legends'), it was Soyeon that joined in with the collaboration, not Miyeon. And I believe Soyeon will be staying with her group of course. She has so much creative freedom that a lot of idols could only dream of. Soyeon has produced a number of (G)I-DLE songs, as such, I'm sure she is very content and happy.

However, their special song 'Lion' was VERY well received by fans and critics (it was made for them during the TV show 'Queendom').

And their latest comeback song 'Oh My God' is likewise very well received. Their recent album release, 'I-Trust', has kept the sound/vibe Idle are known for since debut. As such, they'll probably stick with it and adapt it occasionally. They may also release songs a bit different form time to time, such as their title track 'Senorita'.

Ok, I'm getting some (G)Idle education. "Oh my God" is catchy, I'm adding the English version to my list. That song you recommended, "Lion" wasn't my cup of tea. I didn't like it. Too Rock and Rolly. I just sampled the other tracks from the I-Trust album. They're okay.

Honestly I like Senorita! That one made it to my list the first time I heard it! Which is funny because you said that is the largest deviation from their style. Maybe I don't like (G)Idle as much as I thought I did.
