The price of being super popular, I guess. That was their peak and also the peak of their hate. I don't see much hate for GFriend nowadays. It's always the same shit about their "music sounding the same" or "flopping" unlike before where every move they do gets scrutinized and misunderstood. I still have some really old AKP threads from 2016-2017 saved in my bookmarks about people hating GFriend or the girls being "problematic."
