They won on music bank nine weeks in a row. that is 2 months.Rand, Pls explain for the benefit of latecomers:I'm not sure how
Did u mean how IT'S 9 SAME SHOW WINS?
i think i dint get it at first n took me a few rounds if thinking to get it
PS The 9 wins r how i first learned of Girls' Generation in 2009(then mostly slept on em till 2018, with a few awake moments when i watched Genie n read/learned other stuff in 2014/2017)
Yeah I only rlly paid attention tat only time when I read on yahoo Asia news abt 9-week record win for Gee in March 2009. I dont rlly rmbr when I went bk n watched ITNW MV maybe tat same day at work/lunchtime cos youtube had it as next rec. I'm still bummed I dint Google SNSD or found Soshi forum/translators then but maybe I just wasn't in receptive frame of mind to pay more attention to kpop between then n 2018: I had many encounters but none stuck...They won on music bank nine weeks in a row. that is 2 months.

Key Milestones
Music bank does not cap at 3 like most of the other shows have done or do now.
- Record Streak: Their 9-week streak broke previous Music Bank records and held the record until November 2012, when it was surpassed by PSY's "Gangnam Style".
- Mid-Year & Year-End Honors: "Gee" also won Mid-Year Summary First Place on June 26, 2009, and Year-End Summary First Place on December 25, 2009, on Music Bank.
and Neon will most likely not do that because music back counts physical sales highly and this is a digital only release.
