So far I have only listened to MMM and (G)I-DLE's songs and I LOVE both of them. I'm excited to hear the rest. (G)I-DLE's song is probably one of my overall faves from them. Soyeon is so talented! She always manages to outdo herself 😍

EDIT: AOA's song is pretty good too. And Lovelyz's song is my all time favourite from them. It's really good and my 2nd favourite on the album so far.
Bom's song really suits her. I'm not crazy about it but it's a good song. I love love LOVE OMG's song!

All of these are bops lmao, I can't choose between OMG and IDLE for my #1.

My rankings:

1. Guerilla = Lion (Oh My Girl/IDLE)
2. Destiny (Mamamoo)
3. Sorry (AOA)
4. Moonlight (Lovelyz)
5. Park Bom.

But they're all good, I just like 2 of those clearly more than the others

Actually Mamamoo's Destiny might be creeping up to my top spot, it just has a very epic sound to it. Like the OST to some historical or Western movie before a climactic showdown

They're also apparently trending #1 in Korea and #4 worldwide and charting the best rn, plus they perform last in the final episode and will pull out all the stops. And they're at 2nd place by a very narrow margin, so yeah they win this lol.

I was most excited for Idle and they crushed it! One of their best songs yet. The chorus and the "ba ba ba" part have been stuck in my head, Shuhua got lines, Minnie's high note, Soyeon's rap, it's all amazing. All the songs are great though. Honestly hard to pick which I like most out of the others. Maybe Lovelyz or OMG.

Spoiler: My List

I put it in levels because right now I can’t tell which ones I like more in order to rank ‘em. So, Level 1 is songs I really, really like and Level 2 are the songs that sounded good, but I may or may not listen to them in the future. I did kinda rank them, but ultimately I won’t know until a few weeks later lol. I need Google Play to add this album lol

Guerilla had a “Twit” (Hwasa) sound in some parts. Lion sometimes had the “Hann” flair. Destiny reminded me of some American song (maybe by Imagine Dragons or some alternative rock band, but I can’t recall the name). Nothing wrong with it, just an observation.

Level 1

Park Bom - Can’t Turn Around, Can’t Return, Nowhere to Return

I am going to be pretty harsh because I am dissapointed.

It’s me or in a way all these songs sound a bit similar ? I can’t recognize Oh My Girl, Lovelyz and AOA uniqueness, Mamamoo, Bom and G-Idle a bit more but Lion and Bom song are too
similar to others songs released by themselves.

If I should rank them it would be :
1. Mamamoo
They successfully played theirs cards as usual with a song that allows them to showcase theirs strengths. Moonlight is beautiful.
2. G-idle
Lion is too much similar to Hann but I still love it. Yuqi and Soyeon shine here.
3. Bom
Spring 2.0. Bom has a particular and unique voice and I think that she finds the type of songs which highlights her voice the best.
4. Oh my girl
Pretty generic but their vocal talent and Mimi good rap save the song.
5. Lovelyz
Same as Oh my girl but I don’t like the song as much as Guérilla.
6. AOA
AOA have one of my all time favorite discography but I can’t believe that it’s the same group who released Short Hair, Elvis, Excuse me, Like a cat, Miniskirt, Good Luck or even Bingle Bangle. The song is very forgettable.

I was expecting better songs for an epic chart competition but it’s not going to happen. My expectation was too high.
