Someone from South Korea bought a $330 gravestone for the recently-defunct Internet Explorer. It is located on top of a cafe in Gyeongju.

I agree that Internet Explorer is good for downloading other browses (it's the reason why I download and use Google Chrome).

IE was good at two things... Downloading other browsers and also downloading Limewire (so I can download music for free)

yea but chrome eats up crazy amounts of memory which is why i hate it so much, gave me tons of headaches on my old laptop

edge looks almost identical to chrome but has more privacy settings, is just as fast as chrome and only uses half the memory just saying

What do you like about edge? I don't really use it, but its always the default on my gaming PCs I only use it to download chrome. I think the layout is kind of ugly, but I don't think I gave it a proper chance either...

mostly that it only consumes half the memory chrome does, so i don't keep getting a "scratch disks are full" pop up on photoshop when i have a tab open in the background

it also has more privacy settings so that's nice! the layout is what initially turned me off too but idk if you've seen how it looks now; it looks very similar to chrome these days, and you can use chrome add-ons in edge too so you practically won't even notice you're on a different browser

chrome and edge both use chromium as their base so at their core they're similar yea, but there's some differences that could make you prefer one over the other

IE is not exactly dead. You know the browser still exists in Windows 10, right?

I had to do something or became curious a while ago and it showed up in the Start Taskbar search list.

Thanks, MS for lying about not supporting IE when Edge was introduced and still keeping both in the operating system.
