Fancy was still in the top 3 gg songs by the end of that year and the first one to go number one at all.
Twice has been going viral several times over encores and concert performances to the extent old videos are being revived even 6-7 months later. Their image isn't great rn in Korea.
I think it's a factor, not the biggest or the only one but still a factor

You wouldn't judge whether a groups performance is going downhill against others though you would judge it against themselves and when you consider Twices performance even from Knock Knock up until Dance The Night Away the performance of the releases after that have been up and down.

It might have pushed them down faster than they would've gone without it but still with the performances of The Best Thing I Ever Did and Feel Special especially you can't exactly say they were knocking it out of the park with every release anymore and I do apply the same logic to other top girl groups.

Knock Knock marked the end of Twice's "explosive hit" era followed by a series huge hits from Signal to YoY. BTIED was an unpromoted Christmas ballad so I don't particularly count it considering those generally don't do too well.

Fancy was their last song that could be considered a hit and coincided them experimenting with different sounds and images. I'd say the decline was pretty slow and consistent with FS and M&M that you could reasonably expect them to bounce back. Despite being more public friendly and following the popular, ICSM is just not having any of the success it reasonably should. Cry for Me further cemented that. The drop off between M&M-ICSM is unnatural

Well there's more to it than just Twice declining but it's a market wide problem that is affecting most people as with The Best Thing I Ever Did if you remember just before that Really Bad Boy and Wind Flower came out and both didn't do great either and since then all three groups haven't been as strong as they were before those.

Just looking at last year and only Blackpink and Oh My Girl really released big hits from girl groups which is not a lot and then as well some point last year Gaon wrote an article that showed digitals were basically on the decline which is why you see me saying that Korea isn't exactly the place to focus on right now as it seems like they're going to be hard to break into while the physical market is growing and safer bet.

lol i believe that it would be released next month, since yg announced the month /which is march/ and also, they are already done with the mv... lisa's the one we should be scared cuz it might be delayed til next year lol
