We'll mostly still be making them ourselves in the future as company badges are simple - usually just a logo with a background. Normal users can request which companies they want us to make badges for or they can submit badges they made themselves for approval.

I like the 2nd and 3rd one the most so far, if you want to experiment a bit more feel free to do so if not idc if you take the 2nd or 3rd for the final one
Edit: altho the 3rd one looks the most polished imo, 2nd one is a bit "too red" imo

We most likely will not open that thread again. This is because when we used that system to redo badges, we were still a smaller community. Now it would be unfair to redo an entire group's badges based on the wishes of one user.

That being said though, we do plan on implementing a way to redo badges again in the future, however that is still in the discussion stage.

I understand totally and it makes sense. A badge shouldn’t be changed on the wish on one user... But maybe through an event once a year, or maybe by requests and votes? Maybe like the shipping thread where a ship has to have a number of likes to be applied, or the emoji event going on.

Yes, having an event like that is exactly what we are planning on doing for the future; we are just working on the exact details at the moment.
