yeah it hasn’t started yet. we have been planning but as you may notice the anniversary event ( Big Brother event) is going on so we didn’t want things to clash

I don’t think we discussed those... fact is we have some priority badges that were on the list last year but weren’t done over and there were also badges people asked for to be revamped back then but didn’t make the cute cause they were newer. so I think those will need to be done absolutely. the rest is still up in discussions. we also have to consider if there is enough content to make a ton of new badges

I don't think I get this. Is there a hosting/software limit for the number of badges that can be done?

yeah I meant like photoshoots that happened since then or comeback teasers. for example Blackpink would have a couple of new material so it would be worth of an update where as there are smaller groups that didn’t have a release for a while

You can find ways to get trophy points here - most of them you can get from the amount of posts, likes, and threads you have. I understand it can be a bit difficult in the beginning, but once you interact a little bit, you can probably get enough for an avatar frame in no time~ You definitely don't have to be online 24/7 to earn points. In addition, Events Team frequently hosts forum events where you are able to earn points from participation and even more for winning.

For badges, you are eligible for your first one when you hit 100 posts, so you're third of the way there! More information can be seen here.

in my honest opinion, looking at the trophy list point page..... the way to get to 4000 is to basically post on this forum in spam style
which i already noticed people do here anyways and thats ok ... i know from experience a lot of forum owners don't mind that but that is not my forum user style.... i may be way older than most and which is maybe why i don't post in spam style, for example, i reply to multiple posts in 1 post instead of quoting 4 people by making 4 different posts all in a row

if you really take a close look at the point system with the trophies, it's impossible for someone like me, who does not post in spam style and is not on forums hours and hours per day, it is quite impossible to get to 4000 sooner rather than later
(FYI not degrading on people who post on forums in spam style, i personally just don't post like that, because i prefer to use an actual forum like you are suppose to and not like it is twitter or something)
i have to make 5000 posts to get only 300 points?
i have to receive 5000 likes for only 150 points?
and i can go on
i think the rewards are kind of low for the amount of content you have to provide to be able to receive them

and if i ever do get to 4000 , they be all gone and i have to start all over again?

this might be out of your guys hands as i am not sure if this is adjustable in xenforo but if it is on xenforo why the points are like unfair like this compared to the amount of content you have to provide for them.... i expected more of them considering xenforo is one of the top lead forum softwares around

i hope there will be events in the future i'd like to participate in where the rewards come high and hoping there is fair equal chances to win them points or else i will never be so kawaii on here like many others

Yup, I completely agree with you; I also think that the point system is not fair in many aspects, and a lot of the points are very disproportionate and little compared to difficulty of the milestones. (Also FYI, I’ve been on this forum for more than 2 years, and I barely post, but I still have gained quite a few points over time, so it’s not impossible to pile up on trophy points if you’re not that active. I completely understand where you’re coming from though, so don’t worry.) It’s pretty interesting how you brought this up just now because we are actually currently planning to revamp the point system to make it more fair and organized. I don’t know myself how exactly the new point system would look like, but I’m just letting you know that there will definitely be a lot of new changes in the near future. The amount of points that you can get in relation to the milestones will hopefully become better and equal for all users.

Hmm it depends on other @Awards Lead @Awards opinions too but personally don't want the OP to be reserved yet until they have a few more official photoshoots and variety for people to actually vote on~ I know the debut concept photos are gorgeous!! But it still needs a little bit of time until we can make a badge thread~

I was actually planning to make the thread(if it's ok for me to be the op) somewhere around their official debut when there are more pics as u mentioned but I wasn't sure if we could still create the thread amidst the revamp season or not?

It's okay for you to be op but we're not sure when we'll have enough material to be able to hold a badge voting thread, so I don't want to say yes now just in case there are others that want it too. I'm sure @vogue is more experienced with the difficulties of badge threads for freshly debuted groups so she'll probably have a better time frame of when we might likely be able to do one but I personally want to leave the OP open at least until they've actually debuted. It could be just weeks until we have enough material to be able to fairly hold a badge vote with options to choose from, but it could also take a few months hence why I don't think the OP should be given to anyone just yet.

ok finally here. I mentioned it before but we advise not to make badge threads for freshly debuted groups due to them not having much materiel. it always is better to wait a little.

we did for example itzy as soon as they debuted and it was quite the struggle to even get some decent material to work with.

So far there are just the teasers that SM is currently posting, so I definitely would say please wait for the group to have at least some photoahots cause the less a group has material the harder it is to get amazing badges.

I was asking about a badge revamp for groups with already existing badges like PassCode or AKB48. I got no clear answer.
