Is there any Scandals or Controversies that you don’t particularly believe in? or maybe just made up for marketing purposes to attract attention.

Are there any thoughts or ideas that come to mind?

like feng xinduo's case... everyone kinda just assumed she was dating that actor (lol at akira's glare at him a few days back) without much backing not to sound like a cp fan but malu was too cute, pity they broke up; lu ting >>> any man tbh, like that time she impulsively bought fxd a bouquet of flowers after she watched a kdrama where that happened and thought it was cute? she's literally a kdrama bf

I know they had a dating scandal but I honestly never thought BaekYeon was an actual thing or even if they were, they weren't actually serious. The timing to be caught was off.

weibo scandals are a mess in general, and I hear douban is a lot worse
apparently one of the bigger snh douban groups disbanded bcuz an admin fought with a member over something petty, and then the new one that everyone flocked to has this messed up rule where you have to post something negative in the op of each new thread? so you get a lot of dv jokes, that type of thing

I'm not an avid c-entertainment follower so I wouldn't really know. The only one I've actively followed is XZ because of his skills as an actor and singer and his portrayal of WWX was so on point. When 227 happened I didn't Fully understand the controversy but the way it snowballed into something so terrible was shocking tbh. Never had I ever seen anything like that in any of the fandoms I was in.

call me delusional for this but the whole laboum sajaegi thing in april 2017 when they got their first music show win 3 years after their debut. people want unknown groups to do better chart-wise, and then when they actually do they're accused of doing it the unfair way. their company could barely afford producing their comebacks, let alone sajaegi. also this was their only music show win ever
