Honestly yes, there are so many other kind of AI concepts that are already ahead of SMs lack of interest in that itself. Seeing how little they have done with them since debut is really baffling if that was supposed to be aespas main concept

sm has invested a shit ton in it, looking back shining star was basically a test run, I doubt they would drop it so fast
plus, kim soyeon said the concept had been under development since 2015
also, everyone who can afford it is going into ai

I think it could be interesting if they just... made it better? Right now the AI versions of the girls look super dated and low quality. Not to mention the unrealistic body proportions.
But even then, there's just something a little weird to me about having an AI version of an idol, but they could definitely do some cool things with it.

they stick to their guns, unless aespa flopped spectacularly at debut and their first cb, I don't see them ditching ideas
nct honestly sends because how bad they got dragged for their noise music, but now noise music is the new big thing
their ballads are superior though

Can't drop it when they haven't really started with it since apart from a couple of things they haven't done much and I'd like to give SM the chance to play out whatever idea they have for it before clowning on them if it ends up being handled questionable like NCT was at times since SM has good ideas but they just don't always execute them the best.

I think they could do some cool stuff with it but I'm personally not that big of a fan of the idea. It seems a little weird to me I guess.

I think there is big potential but like others have said SM has not done anything with it. If by their third comeback they still haven’t done anything then yes. As of right now I don’t see any creativity behind it whatsoever.
