I would like to know what you think about this subject and what are the limits you give yourself if there is any. I want to make a video or at least a blog about that.

Have I ever created fanfictions or videos about a ship? Dude I was 15 once too, yes I did all that. Back in the day we called in slash and came in lemon and lime varities.

Do you think it can affect the relationship between idols in real life? Oh hell to the yes. Do you think some idols will think twice about doing something to avoid getting shipped or cause a misunderstanding. Some idols might be really uncomfortable with this behavior as well.

Did I ever come across content aout a ship on youtbe or else where that made me feel uncomfortable? Well-yes-have you seen what's out there.

Should we stop making ships? I think how people/fans have come today, yes we should stop the shipping. Why? Because people have forgot the creed to ship and not tell... Weird calling it ship and not slash anymore. XD Anyways, now days poeple force these ships on idols and they are not even decrete about it. Some even go to far as throw tantrums when their bais shows interest in another causing holes to be blown in their ship. Just because you want X idol to get with Y idol doesn't give you the right to get pissed when X gets with Z.

God fans being so open now days about ships idols are forced to acknowledge the sexual fantasies fans have about them. Back when it was attempted to keep away from the idol one could live in ignorance and ignorance in this case is bliss.

Shipping is fine in the "oh they are cute together", "I would love for them to be together" way
But if it is "I think they are actually dating" or "I think they SHOULD be dating" then you have a problem on your hands.

I don't mind fanfictions existing, but I myself feel weird reading them (So I don't), I imagine there are idols who don't like those being a thing, but then again I know there are also idols who read them.

Have ever ships or fanfictions been secret? I feel like it's something that has always been shared online and contributes to the life of the fandom as well. But it might take bigger proportions nowadays as there are plenty of apps to share your fantaisies...

No I should put Ship and dont tell (idols) . I mean don't tell the subject of who your shipping it can make them unconfortable.

Edit: If idols want to know who's getting shipped they know where to find it. Then any emotional scarring is on them. XD

Works with videos unless youtube recommends a shipping video with said idol. Crap type in two idols name and add ship you can find almost every ship on youtube. Especially videos explaining why they ship. That would be interesting if some youtuber started reading short fanfics.

Or react to these videos to make people realize how weird it is. Unfortunately, most of the time, the people who react to these shipping videos are only encouraging it.

Cameron Philip did that multiple times but he was half encouraging half making fun of it.

Again I want to reinerate I am not against shipping per-say. Sometimes two idos are really cute and adorable together. It's been around since before the internet. Internet just gave us more routes to share said shipppings. There was a creed, Slash (now ship) and don't tell (subject of). Now days people have gotten more obsessive now that they can find people to fuel their desire. More people to side with them creates an environment in which now they feel comfortable going face to face with an idol and say I ship you with X person. Even some of these people go to as far as show their perversions strait to idols. I mean if men did this (yes I know both men and woman ship) to woman people would get pissed cry sexual harassment and all hell would break loose.

Na, not saying there isn't innocent shipping, but it's the always the lesser few idiots to ruin things.

They are called doujinshi and yes they are real. I don't know the Korean version of it, but it does exist....

like if you think two idols have a cute friendship or think they'd look good together, and kinda ship it, I think that's fine as long as you don't go too far into it

but shipping def affects idols
kahuang hate each other (though the root of the issue was between the girls themselves)
75's fans got so bad (mostly wuzhe's fans who thought that kiki's fans should be grateful that she got attention through the ship) that kiki had to go to therapy for it, and they barely interact anymore

Well, yes. Everyone's entitled to their own preferences. It probably makes them uncomfortable to see art, writing, and edits involving them and another person they've probably never thought about in that way.

Shipping makes me uncomfortable, period. Seeing it, actually being shipped -- none of it is fun. Everyone does not have to be in love to be nice or close to someone else.

honestly I think its no more weird than x reader content. Its all gonna make the idols uncomfortable when they see it ofc, but as long as you keep that kinda thing deep in the depths of the internet I think its fine. I think a lot of people do go too far with it, and want to fight to prove their ship is "real" lol, but I think thats all the same lvl of gross as people that think their favs are gonna fall in love with them and they're gonna run away together or w/e .
As long as they keep it on fanfic websites and like.. tumblr, I think its pretty harmless.

I hve not but I have come across it.. ... I think it was Yaoi con.... .... .... I wasn't in to kpop yet. It exist you just need to find it. Some the artists are really good who create doujinshi
