In his defense, he had supposedly been talking about enlisting last year, sometime in early 2019. But his enlistment being delayed time and time again, only to happen right after allegations of things that link him or at the very least include his name given the circumstances is bad timing at the very minimal.

It is hard to make heads or tails of what is being revealed what is being negated what is pure rumor and speculation and what is the honest to goodness truth. And I don't think we will ever actually get the answers, either.

He has been enlisting this time ages now, so this is not him escaping to military. He has been pushing it forever already and this was planned before hand. I don't think he can postpone it and it would be better if he could since he can't defend himself from military and it will be harder for the investigation proceed as well. It will likely continue, but according info i have gotten he can't be interrogated unless he gets arrested and it might be brought to military court if case is made against him.

In other hand I don't think there is still case to make against him based on what we know. He is not being accused by anything relating to Burning Sun (other than media/public, but meaning they haven't sued him) and it seems like the text messages can't be used as evidence- burden of proof would be on accuser and there is no original texts anymore remaining and if they where proved as original somehow it would also be need to proven the person "Seungri" in text is truly Seungri- made from his phone by him. So the burden of prove is quite harsh on accusers side and they would not likely have good case against him regardless of him being guilty or not. I think in order of this becoming court case and him being punished in some legal way would require him to confess. Not that he won't be condemned by media and public though.
