Mid-tier Agency creation estimated costs for ONE (1) OT4 Group, for the 1st year

All costs in USD. Small-scale Agencies are irrelevant and non-profitable, hence disregarded.

1. First off, the obvious ($228,000)
Unless you can find a couple of Cha Eun-woos to reduce costs….

* Double-Eyelid surgery x 4 = $24,000
* Rhinoplasty x 4 = $64,000
* Facial Bone surgery x 4 = $120,000
* Buccal fat removal x 4 = $20,000

And yes, I’m fully aware that PS is much cheaper in SK but for the sake of the exercise, we’ll stick to US figures.

2. SK Business Registration & Legal Fees ($12,000)
* Company Registration: $4,000
* Licenses & Permits: $2,000
* Legal & Contract Drafting: $6,000

3. SK Office & Training Facility for the 1st year ($251,000)
* Office Space Rental (Seoul, Gangnam area): $8,000/month
* Security Deposit (Key Money): $80,000
* Studio & Practice Room Setup: $75,000 (definitely Mid-Tier!)

4. Talent Scouting & Training for the 1st year ($359,000)
* Audition Hosting (advertising, venue, staff): $35,000
* Trainee Salaries & Stipends: $1,000 per trainee/month (assuming you’re not creating Chrome or MLD Ent here, we’re talking mid-tier!)
* Vocal/Dance/Acting Instructors: $10,000/month (this won’t getcha Kyle Hanagami, obviously!)
* Accommodation & Food for Trainees: $16,000 /month (and I’m being extremely generous here, ice cubes don’t cost much!)

5. Music & Production Costs for Debut mini with 4 original tracks and 2 MVs ($432,000)
* Songwriting & Composing: $25,000 per song
* Recording Studio Rental: $8,000 per track
* Music Video Production: $150,000 per MV

6. Marketing & Promotions for Debut track ($158,000)

naw Shindong used to do em.. say 10 years ago you could do a whole mv for 30k us push it to 50 with inflation.

you can see why the debt ratio is bat shit crazy. and very very few make money.
ie everglow still has not.

Very very few ppl debut a group in a year.
Akkarat with the rebooting of 50/50 is the closest i remember.
your gonna have to amortize Keena out and some of the other may have been trainees already.

Sm claimed they were into each member of SNSD for millions of US dollars i think 3- 6 i would have to look it up. and that was 20 years ago.
Considering that 6 were basically 6-7 year trainees, Tae and Tiff were 3 and Sunny 1 but she trained for 5 at least somewhere else.
And they burned thru at least 8 other long term trainees. (ie Soyeon, Chanmi and several other high profile girls. )

RV had a 7 year trainee 2 5's and 2 2's and they burned thru so many other girls.

and we dont even want to go thru what sm churned thru to make Aespa. Aespa had to be on the books for 30-40 million at least.

For top-tier Agencies, I'd be tempted to add 50 to 90% to all numbers I've described (besides the ps, obviously).
So yeah, it's another level not nearly close to this mid one. The "contingency" aspect is super important too! Sh*t happens on day one quite often! Just ask LeGaramFim!

If i remember correctly they in effect bankrolled lesserafim out of Hybe's pocket to repay source for taking a debut ready team from em.

That caused source cash flow issues and that led to gfriend getting the boot.

that worked out welll...
should have left em there with the soft concept and done lesserafim at big hit. with BHS preferred concept.
