Roy Kim has been trending for a few hours in Worldwide Tweets on Twitter, but 90% of it is people hoping it's not Roy Kim and no "real" mentions of him being involved/directly involved.
Regardless of who ends up being revealed (because for all we know, there might very well be others too and not just those 8 mentioned, since the chats supposedly went on for almost a year regarding these same things/similar things) it's sad to hear about such horrible things happening, and I hope the victims are alright/will be alright.
This is just so messy.
It's hard to see when someone you have supported or cared about (as a fan) has done something hideous or unimaginable, but under the same notion, it's important to recognize these things. In a case like this, it's better to reveal all of those involved, prosecute them according to law based on their involvement, and move on with your life in who you support and care about (again, as a fan). It's better to expose those who have done wrong than blindly allow the support while keeping in mind "well, it's a dirty industry and a lot of bad things are going on with lots, so I'll turn a blind eye to it."
