I have noticed all the negativity against BTS this last spring/summer so I did a kind of test. I did a research to see the last threads about BTS. The first page was full of negative topics. I tried with others popular groups and the results were very different.

Users are allowed to have an opinion but it hurt me a bit.

I guess I'm slow since I didn't realise that was a BTS negative thread I actually thought that meme was hilarious.

My comment was referencing the constant passive-agressive comments made towards the group for this that (and usually the most ridiculous stuff like winning on a music show for example lol) as well as the constant aggressive comments a lot of users here make towards the fandom too as if other fandoms are saints. At this point aside from a few users who obviously have something against the group, it just seems like shading the group or the fandom has become second nature here and most don't even realise they're doing it. I mean, even some people who commented on this thread do it too but apparently don't seem to realise it... Not that I have anything against anyone, I just find the situation funny. I guess like I said, it's become so normal here that no one besides fans realise it.

I don't even bother clicking on BTS related threads anymore (especially not achievement threads) because I know it's not going to be all positive and happy like almost all other group related threads here.

Using the word bashing wasn't right. Basically whatever not so nice opinions they have on bts if presented in line with the rules of the forum, they can post it. The other side can defend. Is it right to target bts and shade or find faults in them? Absolutely not. But it's going to happen.

that was not my intention either, but I can see why some would take it that way, especially if they haven't seen me complain about the fandoms I'm in MYs are the next blink akgaes, I can already feel it

yeah, in that case, I don't bother clicking bts threads anymore since I've fallen out of the group? i used to semistan but kinda left at around not today
I really don't bother keeping up with them that much, or groups I don't really like in general, so I can't really say anything on that rip

I don't get people who shade, dislike or hate bts unless it's their music which is like, ok each to their own
But the actual guys in the group?? Bunch of hardworking, funny and amazing guys <3
