I think it's great that bts is getting appreciation from their seniors, it probably means a lot to them. I saw some people on twitter getting mad at this but it's really not that big of a deal. it is true that bts has made kpop a lot more popular in America, just like other kpop artists made kpop popular in Japan, SEA, and so many other places. no reason to "cancel sunmi"

Sunmi is too humble. Of course, Wondergirls, SNSD, BigBang, 2NE1 and many other groups did the groundwork. Kpop became known through 2nd generation groups.

Doesn't mean that BTS or other groups have only become successful through these groups but I think we shouldn't forget this when we talk about the groundwork.

Thank you Sunmi for complimenting Bts so much but you are definitely a part of this groundwork. 😍
