You need to not take everything I say as a personal slight on you or your groups, it's getting really old listening to your defensive whining and pointed attempts at starting an argument, it's not that serious. You singled out one portion of my entire post assuming it applied to TBZ when it wasn't even my first suggestion as to why NCSoft might've terminated their contract. By IST's own admission, this was not "out of nowhere" since their contract expiration date was known. It also wasn't, "In the middle of negotiating a new contract" because IST stated that they had attempted to negotiate but NCSoft didn't respond.
What is clear is that NCSoft, a gaming company more known for their MMO games, did not have any idea how to run a platform like this. Universe launched with a lot of fanfare, features, plans, and almost none of them came to fruition. Since launch, they've been steadily removing features, and it's pretty obvious that they're sinking more money into the app than they're getting in return. Not just that, but by your own admission, fans are removing paid content and sharing it on social media against the TOS, taking profits from the company. If TBZ are as popular as you insist, it's also possible IST was trying to leverage them to get more money and NCSoft said no.
Tbh I've always been surprised the app has lasted this long with as badly as the launch and subsequent releases have gone, and how they put almost all of the content behind a paywall. It was built to fail and no one should be surprised when it goes down finally.
