News TS entertainment is suing Secret's Hyosung and Jieun (1 Viewer)

[Belgizen]

Reason: they both breached their contracts by signing under another company whilst still being signed under TS.

[yeji]

not surprised.

[Belgizen]

not surprised.

I mean... contract is contract and they broke it.
TS is shiet company but it's generally known that an idol can't sign for another company before their contract is terminated in the other company.

yeah. exactly why I am not surprised.

[kuro]

wow, TS is crap, but in this case, they're right.
they can't do this while their contract is still on.

[Darkyoda47]

Why did those two even do that. They should've waited and got the termination sorted. They just fucked themselves smh.

[Darkseid]

Wasn't Hyosung involved in a long legal battle that ended last year? What was that about?

[RandAlThor]

They are likely fine.
My guess is they were under contract, but were in court to get it killed.
so they were in a semi free agent period so that they could continue to earn a living.
This seems like more of a time and money wasting deal by TS.
The courts already cleaned their clocks in each case.

[blueberries]

Regardless of legality- Fuck TS

[CrunchyLegend]

IIRC the courts already declared those contracts null due to non-payment and other factors. TS threatened to countersue then, I assume this is it, but I really doubt it will hold up.

Again? Didn't Hyosung just win a law-suit at the end of 2018?

[feepit]

How were they able to sign with a different agency in Korea if they still had a contract with TS?

Telling the new company "We already nullified with TS"
