TWICE Makes Me Happy


TWICE gets criticised frequently for many things. A frequent criticism is that their music is generic and lacking in quality.

The underlying assertion that perviates this criticism is that TWICE songs somehow lack value or are lesser than other alternatives and that one would be better served to seek out "superior" or "unique" alternatives.

One is perfectly entitled to dislike TWICE and find them lacking. I'm not arguing against difference of opinion or criticism in of itself.

But what I would urge many to take heart of is this....

Don't worry to much about what others think about the music you care about. Don't let their lack of enthusiasm or approval temper your excitement about something, even if it's derided as "trash" or "lacking" by some.

I listen to everything from Chopin to jazz to rock to Golden Age hip hop to yes ... TWICE.

I can tell you. Few make me as happy as TWICE.

Isn't that what music is really and truly about? Not some third party or critics view of what is "valuable"... Not charts or sales or what have you... Not what moves or speaks to others ....But what moves and speaks to oneself.

What makes you happy ...whatever it is.

Latch on to it. Love it and don't let anyone tell you different.



I for one.... Love TWICE. And will continue to support and cherish them. As they move me.
