So I remember back in high school how much I hated that we had uniforms. I was always jealous of the kids in some of the other school who didn't have to wear ties, blazers, shirts, skirts, pants and those god awful black shoes.

But then skip to University and I realized how stressful it was not to have a dress code. We had to actually think about what we wore and weather we wore it more than once that week. Ugh that was a mess. Guess that grass is always greener, huh?

So what about you? Uniform or nah?​

I don't have to wear a uniform, so I wouldn't know what it feels like, but I like that I can choose what I wear, and being someone who doesn't care about fashion much, I don't think all that much about what I wear, as long as it's comfy and good for the weather.

Back in school, if we were sick of wearing that stupid blazer, they gave us custom-made cardigans wear. They really tried

I had to wear a uniform from Kindergarten through 8th grade, but my high school didn't have a uniform. And I'd much rather not have a uniform tbh.

Different uniform in summer and winter, all white in summer which was terrible. In winter, our pants changed to grey, had to put on the tie and blazer.

And those black shoes smh, having to polish those daily sucked.

And like we weren't allowed to roll up our sleeves or leave any buttons open on our shirt, it had to be all proper and formal with the tie

We had uniforms until 8th grade. The first one was awful. It was really ugly. The second it was a dark red and idk, better than the previous but I still hated it. Then in highschool we had our uniforms only for some classes.

But now I think uniforms are a good thing if they are pretty. I's idk... elegant to see everybody with a dresscode. And it's not a pain to find new clothes to wear everyday

Uniforms make getting dressed in the morning so much easier plus you don't have to worry about whether you look good or not because everyone's wearing the same thing. I can remember, when I first started Sixth Form we didn't have to wear uniforms but we had to keep to a strict business casual dress code and that was so much more complicated especially at the end of the summer when you were shopping for new clothes because you want to get nice stuff that not everyone else is gonna have but you still have to make sure it's within the guidelines... that was a pain in the arse!

Plus I really missed my blazer when I started Sixth Form, I went the whole of high school without ever needing to carry a bag because my blazer had all of these fucking HUGE pockets and I could fit everything into them, it was so much easier that having to lug a giant bag around with me every where!

I personally think that uniforms can look adoreable so I never had anythning against them.
As someone from germany I never had to wear one so I obviously wouldn't know how it would feel like.
All I know is that I am someone that does take alot of thought and time for their outfits so I guess for me it would hae been way easier to have a unform
