Road to Kingdom turned me off of golden child because I already didn’t like any of their music that I’d heard, and on road to kingdom I thought their stages were boring and they lack stage presence

so there’s really no reason for me to consider looking into them

ToppDogg didn't have super strong dancers. Sure they had Minsung, Byungjoo, Jiho, and Hojoon, they were extremely talented and definitely carried the group in terms of dance. There was also Hyunho and Sehyuk who did the stunts, but even then, they weren't outstanding dancers, Hyunho was just really good at throwing Sehyuk around and Sehyuk wanted to do it so the other members wouldn't get hurt.

I feel like this is partly because a lot (most) of their dances were choreographed a bit messily. The dances were pretty much forgettable save for an element to add variety (like the masks/fans in Arario) or Hyunho and Sehyuk doing some sort of crazy stunt together (Follow Me, Open The Door, Arario come to mind). The dancing definitely improved after a bunch of them left, though. The Beat is an example of a comeback in which the dancing was really good.
Annie is exempt from all of this, fucking iconic choreography

I think there should be an age limit for idols (both boys and girls), I’d say 17+ for debut, and 15.5+ for debut training

The hate for 4th gen is so uncalled for. I’m a 4G enthusiast myself and 2nd & 3rd gen Stans are so condescending towards the generation as a whole, from the stans to the groups and the music itself. Fine if what’s being put out isn’t your cup of tea, but the constant hate and shitting on anything 4th gen isn’t right.

there are plenty of groups i like, but due to a few members (or the whole group) i find boring i dont end up stanning.

also, kpop was more fun before everyone cared about streaming and voting and all that.

I love Yiren, but I have to admit most of her popularity comes from her being conventionally very pretty. She doesn’t excel in singing and rapping, and even in her strong point dancing she doesn’t compare to Mia or Onda. But she does her role of visual really well. I know quite a few Forevers who got interested in Everglow from noticing Yiren, which is what she’s supposed to do being a visual. She’s not bad in singing or rapping, but compared to other members who are known for their strong points E.g, E:U for her rapping, Sihyeon for her vocals, etc. I think Yiren is only (or mostly) known outside of or sometimes in the fandom for her visuals because she isnt very Stand out In other positions

I don’t understand how people can stan 20+ groups at one time. Like how do you keep up with them all?! How can you call yourself a fan of every single one of those idols from all those individuals?! It just seems impossible to stan dozens and dozens of groups.

I don’t understand why people get so pressed over bias rankings. They’re totally realistic and honest for the person who made it

1. if you say you care and love every member of a group you stan equally you’re lying (unless you manage to be an extremely unbiased OT-) Bc there’s always going to be members you are more willing to talk and care about over others, and you yourself know that if you take a look at how you treat every member separately.

2. Even if you have an idol at the bottom of your bias rank, it dosent matter. There’s still going to be thousands of stans who will live and breathe and do anything for that one idol, so you placing them last isn’t that deep and won’t affect the idol or their significance whatsoever.

I love Eric with all my heart, I've missed him so much while he's been on hiatus. But I'm not going to mindlessly forget like other Deobis, him not giving any fucks about covid regulations and giving nearly all his members covid. And the fact that he'd already ignored regulations before this. And I hate how some Deobis are turning this into a "you wrecked his mental health by blaming him" like no?? Show me where the statement said that. Fans need to stop shielding their idols, it's so annoying.
