For my entire childhood, adults have been making coffee in a 12-cup mr coffee machine with 2 heaping teaspoons per pot. Apparently you're supposed to put two tablespoons per cup. That explains why pods taste stronger than that...

Anything you've been doing wrong for years that you just found out about?
