What did I miss in the last month or so? (3 Viewers)

[RandAlThor]

hmm Mark left SM and all the NCT groups.
Yena's catch catch is super fun! solid 2nd gen vibe

[centen]

bittersweet - pass
shapeshifter - not bad

Lol, I figured Shapeshifter would be more up your alley. Sometimes I can guess people's taste.

Kep1er disbands in july....

This last album of theirs is the first where I liked all the songs, it's such a pity!!

[StirFriedPanda]

WHAT??? Why didn't anyone tell me when *I* came back??? I've got their badge in my display for a reason - they're ults of mine!

Ironically is performing very poorly in the charts. I'm still waiting for my copies.

Sometimes the gen public has no taste, smh.

btw, isn't that one based on some old meme song..?

Since you asked both me and @athenaaa...

According to the Google, it samples from some Moldovan song that was popular in 2003. I'm not old enough to remember the original lol.

I listened to both of them, and I see where "Mama I'm free, mama I'm alright" is sung on the same cadence as the original chorus's beat (which is, again, in Moldovan, a language I just learned exists), but idk, it doesn't have "meme song" vibes to me. Ymmv, obviously.

I know that songggggggggg it's actually Romanian iirc, and it's called Dragostea din Tea (do not ask me to translate - I don't remember and I don't speak Romanian, anyway), they called it the numa numa song or the maya hee song (from one of the lyrics) bc that was the only part they could understand! lol it was like the Gangnam Style of the 2000s

The Google said Romanian and Moldovan may be relatively interchangeable?? Idk man, language is hard

After I went and listened to it, I was like "oh, yeah, I've probably heard this before" but I don't think Baby DONT Cry sounds similar enough to immediately recall them lol

[Selfmate]

this is my exact rating lol, something about bittersweet is underwhelming in a way
but we missed you selfieeeeeee

do anything interesting whilst I was away EXCEPT for your username change?

[Selfmate]

a couple of people have left their groups aparently
catch catch is quite fun but I was really surprised that she managed to do dance challenges with both Cheng Xiao (Chinese Actress formerly of WJSN) and Esther Yu (Chinese actress
