Are hurricanes ever a problem in Atlanta? Or are you far enough inland where they are mostly a non-issue?

I’m inland, so hurricane are never a problem. We had hurricane hit Florida and the only damage it did was knock out the power, and wifi, we also didn’t have to go to school My dad went out and bought my some checkers! Hurricanes are really never a problem, not as far as i’m concerned
