so why or what makes you think; i am going to register on this forum? what forum aspects make it so that you WANT to register?
what kind of things on forums draw you in wanting to join immediately?

for me its about having enough content and active content, open and not closed off because if i can't see what goes on i cba to register (i think forums that make everyone register before you can even see the forum itself are not smart, seo wise but sure, i understand sometimes when a forum is HUGE and got TOO MANY people online a day it might be a wise decision)
layout does not matter much to me, as long as its clear enough

i don't have a standard tag list, i just look around and type random names i know who been active lately

Having nobody else to talk about kpop to, I signed on AKP before coming here to escape the toxicity.

Outside of here, I was a member on an official football team's forum for years, but me and a bunch of others left (similar reason to leaving AKP) We still talk through twitter though.

I was really done with AKP when I got word from a friend (@Lighterxx who will always be missed on this site) that there is a new forum for ppl who want a less toxic alternative to AKP!

I registered the same day!

By then, I was actively checking kpop out. It was on AKP. I didn't like the general attitudes of people there, so I didn't post much. I heard about this forum, and after alot of hesitation, I registered. I generally register on a forum with some kind of goal in mind, and I ponder the idea of registering for a day or two, maybe more sometimes.

so if i get you right, the forum itself is not the reason you register, the way it looks or what you see on it content wise
as long as you got goals for the subject you probably register?

sometimes people start a forum and then they don't understand why people don't register ... then you look at the forum and you see nothing or no recent content

how would you know what it is like if the forum is new and you never been active there?
so how could this be a reason to register when its something you cannot know before you even register?
or you only register at forums you heard about and you heard chaos stuff about ?
