I’ve always considered 4th generation starts in 2020 but I understand why others think differently about it.

Do you mean the second half of 2017? Because Dreamcatcher is January 2017 and are still 2017.
I do agree with you though, they are probably at the later stages of a 3rd gen group.

Well, no, I feel like it really depends on the group? Like, I feel like there isn't a cut off line. It's just in the 2017 and 2018 area.

2nd gen 02 -09
2009 - 2014 3rd gen 2 of the big 3 dropped a new group that year.
