Dafug??? This is ridiculous! Isn't this the same thing that happened to Wonho when he was still in MX? Maybe not the same scandal (if you can even call dating a scandal smfh), but iirc everybody and his oppa blew it WAY out of proportion, and he ended up leaving. PLEASE don't let this happen to Joshua! (well, it obvs is already happening, but I meant the leaving part)

I also hope they don't succeed, but you never can trust the agencies, they drop idols for the smallest reasons sometimes..

its a scary thought.. fans always believe to have the artists best interest in mind, but in reality they only have their own intersts in mind and know little about what the artists want

i really wish kpop industry would stop encouraging the "idol x is your boyfriend/girlfriend" bullshit so that those people who just want to have a performing artist career no longer have to deal with such deranged behaviour. all the causes out there you can put your money in and you choose protesting over a grown man dating someone? i wouldn't be able to look at my face in the mirror if i even thought of this.

I wish that too, but it will never happen as long as it drives album sales... only the fans can make the change happen

Also the fans are so delusional, they don't even see how emberassing their behaviour is, like that one woman wrote on the truck:

Do you remember the Western Boy- and Girlgroup hysteria in the 90s? Backstreet Boys, New Kids On The Block, NSYNC, Spice Girls? Regarding the hype it was some type of 'K-Pop Industry light'. It didn't work permanently in the West, while the hype still works fine in South Korea.

It's this parasocial relationship. The more the artist shares about themselves the more the fans think they know them and are entitled to voice their opinions about them
