Who exactly is OTR? (1 Viewer)

I have spent some time trying to figure out who they are but it looks to be a shell company for cj.
Many think its pledis running them but i doubt that simply because nothing OTR has done is similar to the way pledis ran Pristin for example.

IZ*One has multiple girls in permanent tv gigs within months of debut. (this with a supper stacked cb schedule(i think we will get 5 cb before they are a year old{3k- 2J} and concerts all over asia for the moment)

Fromis_9 had 3 comebacks in 1 year. None of which did better than Pristins first, the trend was actually down yet Love bomb still happened and lo and behold it did better.

and they had better songs.

My belief is Pledis is providing a building and trainers, but no-one from pledis is calling the shots about group management.
Pledis type thinking would have dropped fromis_9 into the dungeon and never done the love bomb cb.

It actually feels more like sm style in that the kids are not singly focused on music, yet they are active on social media unlike most sm groups.


I just cannot find any hard info on them other than the fact that they took over.

OTR is a subsidiary of Stone Music Entertainment, who is the main label of CJ E&M's music division.

Months ago, Han Sung SO (CEO of Pledis) gave an interview and cites Nuest, Seventeen, Izone and Fromis. In it you can see that he loves Izone and Fromis and is very considerate with them.

It's a subsidiary of Stone Music but it's more like a combined effort with pledis in terms of management. Izone and fromis promotions are managed by pledis and music distribution is managed by stone music. Pristin's mismanagement and negligence has a lot to do with this since pledis was understaffed to begin with and CJ E&M/mnet are overpowering pledis since they're major share holders so they neglected pristin afte 2 minis, treated them like dead weights, sabotaged them and then finally pulled the plug.

In my opinion, pledis did with pristin what yg did with 2NE1 albeit in different circumstances and different way. Pristin and fromis cater to similar demographics while fromis and pristin have overall similar results maybe fromis a little less but they are from Mnet since CJ have a stronger hold pledis poured all their effort and staff for fromis (and izone) and left pristin hanging out to dry. I've seen some people blaming the members for possible conflicts and kyla (lol) which I don't think is true, there's a lot of things that happened behind closed doors that we don't know about but at least the girls are now free to pursue what they want
