Let's see: (1) We both hate Hollywood (2) Both have an affinity for fantasy/sci-fi (3) Probably think the same politically in that we both likely hate all political candidates equally... And we both have a dp for a fictional character from a book series that most people have not read. Although, I draw the line at lifetime celibacy... lol

Although, I do share quite a bit in common with @Drew_B not the least is the same idgaf attitude. Which is cool online... but if you tell someone you don't gaf about what they are talking about they say that you're being rude. Such a strange reaction.

although its more i wish they had read this and could understand the differences...

To sum up the job is establish just rules enforce em.
Provide a national defense structure (although they prefer no standing military hard to do now.)
Promote not provide general welfare.
Secure liberty ie let ppl alone unless there is a overwhelming reason to make a rule. ie killing and robbing ppl is bad.

the horror of over 30% of the gdp going to the government to dole out is a nightmare and unsustainable. Ie the government creates nothing every penny they get they steal by force form the ppl. That is just federal spending add states citys school boards ect.

half of the country is working age and half of that does not work , so aside from retired ppl who some how make money ( although i would count that as still working) 25 % of the ppl foot the bill but its gets worse of the 25 % a sizeable chunk work for the government so 15-20% pay the bills at a give time.

You can never go back once you watch the tv/movie adaption of a book series.. How am I ever going to read GOT and see Ramsey Bolton (nee Snow) as some physically ugly psychopath... when the show clearly portrays him as a hot psychopath. Or the fact that Khal is supposed to be 19 not whatever age Jason Momoa was to be portraying. lol... Plus anyone born in the mid 90s would have had their (enter family member here) taking them to watch Fellowship likely in tandem with HP and the Philosopher's Stone...

complex ones it was like 5 6 hours after they got there.
