Recently, we've had groups like WJSN, Fromis_9 and Loona selling extremely well. I think WJSN sold like over 120K albums this year alone. Anyway, these three groups are basically non existent to the general public. They chart for like a few hours and then fall out instantly, the maximum they chart is probably a couple of days. But, I mean who cares though? Everyone knows physicals>digitals.
So my question is, will the new gen of GGs become like BGs where they don't have to rely on gp to last? Do you think, instead, they can make the music they want to make and survive off fans, like BGs do?
