I think K-Pop is different from other Genres (in so much as you can call k-pop a genre) in that there exists a culture where liking the artist is the norm. If he violates a social more, because fans become overly attached to the individual, it feels like a breach of trust and they would abandon said idol much as they would a friend who did the same (i.e. X idol plies guy with booze and sleeps with him while asleep). If I placed enough of my attention on the idols themselves, even then, I wouldn't care if they started dating. The odds of an idol from SK dating a non-celebrity from my country is small. The odds of my favorite idols secretly being of my same sexual orientation is even smaller. Therefore, I wouldn't really care..

Although, there were a group of fangirls who got really upset at some Exo event when they were asked about dating. But I firmly believe individual fangirls would not have an issue if Lay decided to date them (i.e. Taylor would hate if Lay started dating, but if he asked her out her opinion would all of a sudden change).

It depends on what they’ve done, if it’s something like Seungri then no I wouldn’t support them anymore. I also don’t care if one of the people I stan is dating, I’m attracted to a lot of idols but I’ve never wanted to date any of them. I think it’s a little too much when someone unstans just because one of their faves start dating.

I would support my faves through a lot but there is definitely a limit, I'm fine with like drugs because you get used to people taking drugs when you live where I do but something like rape I definitely couldn't support then through that.
