they'd especially get a ton of hate and dating rumors besides the fact they don't do too well, altho a coed group from produce might just do as well as some more popular groups but not as much as the ones before.

There's also the fact about how well the chemistry can be, like for example lets just take KARD, it will be pretty much impossible to create the atmosphere and chemistry the four of them have with a whole 11-12 members, i doubt it will be as harmonic as it is with like with KARD and that will show in their music and MVs.

Coed School always had the differentiating with male and female in their MVs and Songs from what I've seen and heard and it would most likely be like that for a produce group as well

Not sure. It already gets ugly competition wise when it’s only one gender. Would it be 1/2 boys and girls (12 members instead of 11)? Or see who makes it at the end?

Did they ever really do well in Korea though?

I know in the UK we had groups like Steps & S Club 7 but I can't really think of any SUCCESSFUL co-ed groups in kpop, the most successful one that I know of is KARD...

I think that too. It would probably work but with a smaller group.

Never.
And the boys would dominate the voting so every girl would be shaded to the moon and back.

Kpop is meant to be male or female aside from outliers like say akmu who are siblings.
KARD has like no presence in Korea.

That is true actually! I also think that the girls would have way lower votes than the boys as Korea seems to love BG's much better than GG's even if the GG concepts/music is better than the BG concepts/music.
It's only been kinda recently where female idols have been a bit more popular as they were before because they are more diverse now, but it'll still be unfair.
