Okay not hate to IKON but why are they coming back so soon? Frankly both them and BB need to do some PR before returning (fanmeetings, personal variety etc etc) to clean up their image. I understand BB has to comeback but early 2020 should be all about BP and Treasure, the groups with no scandal and that are the future of the company. IKON is neither a legacy act that has survived scandals, their current mega group nor a new face that can possibly sway public opinion.

Also why can Treasure suddenly take part in the creative process but not BlackPink? If YG wants everyone to know they aren't misogynist giving BlackPink control would be a subtle way to do that. I've heard K-netizens have been laughing at their "BP is the Revolution" in light of the scandals and the fact that YG controls them in every way.

They are probably using BP's hard earned money to fund comebacks for their other artists in early 2020 while BP's comeback is delayed till june.

Well that’s how the music industry works though... all of the artists know this. I’m not that concerned since all of the money BIGBANG make will be getting put into Black Pink.

Plus hopefully this means we’ll get a summer bop like As If It’s Your Last aka the superior title track!

Big Bang could still perform great for all we know though and if they do they'd definitely help YGs publicity since that was their strong point the public which while iKon haven't had the most reliable record their last comeback was January so they could do with one as well.

YGs treatment of Blackpink won't get any better if they stop focusing on other artists, they just don't want to change a formula that works and has created a fanbase rabid for success and Blinks aren't helping by letting YG take them for clowns.
