Btw, just out of curiousity Rand-where (internet/tv) were you watching live M Countdown in 2015? I can barely watch music shows live in 2021; i watched some MuBank, Inkigayo n The Show on cable tv in my country ard 2019~2020, but i preferred dvr-ing n ff the parts i wasnt interested in.(only the show was live then/broadcast at same time as korean broadcast; inkigayo n mubank were same week, but l8r by idr how much.)

when SSNSD was super active Soshified taught me how to stream :) and they had a bunch of sites that worked.

i used to watch all 4 music shows and WGM and some times running man in real time. pretty much only when snsd was promoting though.

Streamed almost all of pd 48. well except for the eps i was in Korea for.

lol that was funny i do not watch much tv, but i watched more Korean tv. for show replays ect in the 2 weeks there than i did the rest of the year or its close.

For MuBank, Inkigayo n The Show-i believe there's eng subs on cable tv jere(the selling point of legal cable tv), but u watched it live streamed on Mnet as far bk as 2015, man tats hardcore. Some of em hv tiny tiny, blink n u miss it English names of the groups/artist so i literally dint recognise em even if i recorded it n rewinded sometimes. N tats in 2019. To learn more i would hv had to google search n in 2019 i wasnt invested enuf/skilled at looking up wikipedia page to read the artists who performed tat day(hmm, i might still not hv learned how to look tat up).

I hv tried to watch in real time, i think starting with Yuri's solo debut, her comeback showcase ig it was of her in a radio/broadcast station i think but the lack of eng subs/my not understanding korean made me give up after abt 10/15 minutes(maybe slightly longer but no more than 30 minutes). Iv not watched any others fully since, not even Gfriend's which had subs but badly synced. I might do so for a SNSD cb tho.

Did u watch TV in korea in ur hotel room, or on laptop, or wats the online booking room site called again, airbnb or equivalent, room? Im curious abt ur travel there which u wrote a guide to here earlier but im too lazy rn to look for it again.

I stayed at what they called a guest house basically a bed a air conditioner, a tiny fridge some outlets that i could charge stuff from (with an adaptor)

Gotta say it was totally cool to just turn on the tv and see level up project ect.

i am like dude you have these down loaded...... but it did not matter .

this on air deal works for me its super early like 2 am my time and with this job i cant really do it often(when i do it go to be early and get up with snsd it was easy since ya knew they were always going last so i could get up 230-300am) but the day difference helps when i do
having friday be sat ect. and inky as a like noon kst start makes it a reasonable time sunday night for me.
