My dad wants his taste rated (1 Viewer)

[Juniverse]

My dad isn't really a kpop fan, but at least once a week he'll sit down with me and watch music videos for an hour or so. He's seen a lot since we've been doing this for a little over a year.

I think he thinks this is Reddit or sth but anyway rate his taste pls

Favorite groups: Twice, SNSD and The Gazette
Prefers: girl groups and older music (2008/2012)
Favorite kpop song: Crooked by G-Dragon (he always requests this lmao)
Also likes: Fire by BTS, Dun Dun by Everglow, Down by A.C.E, Monster by EXO

Random facts:
- Thinks Jisoo is the prettiest in Blackpink
- Thinks Gayoon from 4Minute is pretty and has a nice voice
- Likes NIve's voice but refuses to call him anything other than "that guy"
- Likes Brave Girls but hates their name
- is a huge Sixth Gun and is always asking if The Gazette has anything new

Random quotes that I can remember
"That one has a different look" (talking about Byeongkwan's visuals)
"Does he really have that thing through his nose?" (about Chan's fake piercing during the D4 performance)
"I like Mexican food" (during the H1GHR Telefono remix mv)
"They're trying to fill in the gaps. Kind of like the kpop when they just stare into the camera for ten seconds" (talking about how The Walking Dead tries filling up time slots or sth I don't remember but he was relating it to kpop mvs)

JUDGE HIM

I like most of the kpop songs listed so I guess I can’t judge him too much

That’s so sweet You are so fortunate to have a dad like that

He likes SNSD; that's good enough for me.

I mean, he could be burping or passing gas or telling Dad jokes but hey, he likes SNSD. Automatic 10/10.

What Western artists does he like?

I don't know his favorite bands, he mostly just listens to the oldies and alternative stations. I know for more recent stuff he likes that one song with beebadoobee, Coffee I think it's called? I hear him playing it all the time when he washes dishes He also likes some by Lil Nas X and Olivia Rodrigo

If I ever become a parent, I'd want to do this with whatever my kid is into.

He's got pretty good taste.

ok its specific )

7-8 total for snsd and older gg.
2 yoon was fun even if it was country and way out of many kpop fans world.

minus for g dragon who along with Hyuna(less awful in 4 min) are voices i can not take in the least.
bp and everglow whom i have never ever finished a song/performance /video from or enjoyed (well the snack cover of bby was tolerable)
everglow did do some nice dance covers pre debut i think but.

most of the bg i have no idea about, fire i used to see covers on weekly idol i think and exo maybe 60% of the titles. including the sheep nightmare thing. exo does have songs i will look up lives of mostly lmr , growl, cmb, that era.
