Since we can get duplicate badges, if someone were to have multiple custom badges, could they possibly use the same gif/image and have multiple of the “same” custom badge?

I always thought In order to request a badge I need to finish the required post count e.g, to get my badge for 3500, Id need to get 3600 post, as that was what I was told when I first started requesting. But recently I’ve noticed users requesting badges before they reach the next 100. And now I’m a bit confused 🤔

I don't see anything like this in the recent badge requests, you can dm me a screenshot of what you mean. All of the recent requests for badges have been once they already have the posts needed

i think that mightve just been a misunderstanding. you can request your badge #3500 as soon as you hit 3500 posts. in fact i requested my #4500 last night when i had 4510-ish posts and it was granted as usual, i didnt have to wait til i reached 4600

Can ask why the Doyeon and Yoojung badges were remade? I followed the rules completely and made sure they weren’t too sharp or blurry, and I even cropped them correctly. Now they’re just way too close to their faces and look nothing like what I made….

they were remade because they were either a little off center or far from their faces. if you compare the unedited badges of yoojung and doyeon, you'll find out that yoojung's original badge was slightly off center and could be cropped closer to her face. same thing goes for doyeon, her face should be the main point of the badge so i cropped it a little closer to her face.

what i said above is just my opinion though, let me ask the other team members for their opinion and if they agree that it's too close to their faces, i'll edit it accordingly

Doesn't make any sense since they're faces were seen just fine and weren't even zoomed out too far, but whatever

just an idea, but what if we did a yearly kpop awards event (the same way we have the user awards) and the winning groups get limited edition gif badges that can be requested only until the next award season, either for free or for a small trophy points fee
we could also have a couple categories that relate exclusively to kpopsource or awards that encourage activity; like kpopsource's favorite girl group, ks' favorite boy group, group with the most threads, ks' trending rookies, etc.

yea i wasnt sure if i should post this here or in the events suggestions thread but i figured if i ask awards team directly you guys could shoot the idea down quickly if its too much work on your end, which is sort of the biggest qualm i have w this ^^;;
