Do you prefer long or short hair? (1 Viewer)

Of course, on yourself.

I'm conflicted. I cut off about a foot of my hair yesterday, and I'm partially devastated, but also ecstatic. I know that I look much better with long hair, and more style options are available, but short hair is just the easiest to manage. It used to take me about 7 minutes to wash my hair (+conditioner), but it now only takes about 4. You can also pin it back pretty easily as well. I think short hair also fits my personality better, but the long hair made me feel pretty mature. Though, this short hair does look sophisticated.


I'm confused. What are your opinions (appearance and management wise)?

I prefer long hair on myself. I've had my hair cut short a few times, but I never liked it. I even wear hair extensions once in a while. It makes me feel more confident. Thankfully my hair is starting to get longer again.

I loooooove short hair, and I wish it suited me. So because of that I prefer having a long hair on myself, but I still like long hair anyway!

I like shoulder length hair best on myself. Not ridiculously long and hard to manage but not too short and covers my ears in the winter.

I like both. I had a pixie cut for a long time and now i've grown my hair out and I like it as well. My problem with my hair is that it's hot and always makes me sweaty so neither length really do much for me lol

Mayah you need to stfu, you look beautiful with that short hair! For me I prefer my hair short, I get trims and I even cut like a lot of it because long hair is too hard to manage! When I get my hair braided I want short styles. I love short hair but my hair grows really fast so RIP and some girls at my school are so against me cutting my head cuz like birch ITS MY HAIR

Long hair, I haven't had short hair since I was like 4? My hair is past my hips and always has been tbh. I like it long, it's easy to take care of, straight and thin so I never minded the length.

As a guy, short hair. I just don't understand how anyone can tolerate anything that falls below your shoulders, isn't it distracting? Then again, I wear glasses and I got used to that.

Short for sure, i go between long bob and pixie cut.

EDIT: I don't think long hair suits me, though I had long last time when I was in elementary school (went to my lower back). Only issue for me with especially pixie cut is that my hair grows fast so it doesn't maintain that model long. And like @NogaNono said it gets freezing at winter with pixie xd But I have thick hair that takes forever to dry even as pixie and i like how i don't even have to brush it much when it's short, doesn't get tangled really.
