I would've said Eunbi but Woollim is a shit company and they'll probably want to debut her in a GG with Chaewon.
Chaeyeon is the only famous trainee from her company so I'm hoping she'd go solo. If they time it right and with the right song, she'll do well. I'm sure of it ^^

OMG will be 7. WM will want a new gg, now if they want Chaeyeon in it as leader will be the question.
Woollim for sure will have a group no reason to get Juri otherwise, now when that group debuts is a question.
Yena would be interesting as a soloist. addition to Everglow seems a really bad idea.
Same with Yuri adding her to fromis is just weird.
Hyewon who knows.
The starship kids will be all of 17 and 16 they are not going solo.
Minju should be trying to get into one these other agencies.

Ideally someone buys up a bunch of the girls and makes a permanent group.

Do you really think WM will make another GG? Well true OMG's lifespan will near its end by the time IZ*ONE disbands but hmm idk I feel like they can make much more profit from Chaeyeon as a solo artist, especially since none of the other WM girls gained any traction. Not to mention Chaeyeon is the only Korean in the group who is fluent in Japanese. She can thrive over there too.

I mean nobody expected Chungha to come out the most successful. Also, look at how putting Sejeong into a group killed her hype. In the end, her single track outcharted all of Gugudan's titles and even got her a first win. She's basically a solo artist by doing all those solo CFs and acting gigs. If WM is smart, they'll utilize Chaeyeon as a solo since she's triple threat like Chungha. If they do put her into a group, Idk I don't see it taking off at all, especially considering she's the least popular IZ*ONE member. As a solo she'll gain more traction than a group ever will.

Well we'll see what happens next year, when they can promote with their respective companies again.

and 20k + over Sohye and Pinky aka Zhou Jieqiong ( further away than she was from Sejeong) That she was sucessful solo should not have been a surprise. Jellyfish screwed up concept wise I pick on pledis (Because they are not even trying ) but wow Jellyfish made every wrong choice.

As to promoting with the agencies if every member does not do it none of them should. What a man likely did as much damage as the companies other decisions.

Yeah I believe they said everyone can start working with their companies again after 1.5 years. I think Aki specifically implemented this clause for J-line members.

Gugudan still flopped even though they debut with the ultimate public friendly song and also whilst the girls were still in IOI. They had a good song, a huge buff and Sejeong. They barely managed with all that.

Tbh I think Woollim should think small with Eunbi, Chaewon and Juri. Maybe add 1-2 members and call it a day. These big groups are not the way to go post-IZ*ONE.

Well I mean Chungha wasn't successful right off the bat. Why Don't You Know wasn't a topper but it had insane longevity. Might've not been enough to get it a million downloads but it landed her enough hype for Rollercoaster to smash.

I think it's fine for this comeback really, Chaeyeon was showcased a fair bit in LVER and this time they decided to put the spotlight on some other members. Yena really got shafted this comeback, she barely has lines in any of the songs.

I do agree they should put her in center during the choreo more though coz she's such a captivating main dancer. However, while I like her vocals, there are like 4 girls who's voices I prefer over hers- Yuri, Eunbi, Chaewon, Yujin and Yena- 5 actually lol but the gap isn't that big. Nako can sing too, so it's just Sakura, Hitomi, Hyewon, Minju and Wonyoung who I find weak vocally.

It’s the problem with big groups. It’s a brain teaser as to the distribution of line. If Chaeyeon’s fans think that she deserves more lines, I guess that some others members’ fans think the same. So the question is : Who is going to have less lines as a result ?

If we are looking at this objectively.

in Dance Chaeyeon is #1
In Vocals she is definetly between #2 and #6 (Or one of those 2)

Even if she is 6th in vocals so middle of the pack, she is still the best dancer. So she should be treated like a main dancer. I don't think she should get a lot of lines AND main vocal duties (Often in the center for choreos, dance breaks etc), but she isn't getting either this comeback!
