My Fellow AKP Refugees... Now Citizens (1 Viewer)

I guess i'm technically refugee so, well I don't mind drama much unless I have to be one taking care of it. It's not sth I miss that much though. I visit other sites including akp once a while though, like akp I have been mostly to talk with some vips about Seungris case and keeping up with it cause I don't think kps has really that many vips around (especially whose ult group is bb). However I can't really visit the site that easily cause my account is kinda broken, I cannot log in on new devices (the problem with older accounts) so only place where I can use akp is my PC which I can't use when I'm not home. And past week and half I haven't been, I have been working in my home town and lounging around on my parents living room's couch xd

What I like about kps is that for me it's quite easy to get discussions going on here and connect with people even if it's smaller community (or maybe cause of so) and there is maybe less misunderstandings, people are rather chill and not too quickly to jump on things, well in general at least ^^;

I did have some other friends but it seems they rather play the loyalty game and welp guess there's no point talking about it now lol.

I visit it sometimes. I unbanned myself yesterday just to say hello to my friends and that's about it. I couldn't handle the drama (and some other things I won't mention) anymore so I left. I love this forum though. It's amazing.

Tbh your thread on AKP was kind of the trigger for me to start rebelling and wanting better for the site. But well that didn't work out so ^^;

But in a way, I'm so fucking happy it didn't work out because this site 100x better!!

I mean, I came to KPS after barely two or three weeks on AKP, but I don't miss AKP not one bit.
I found my family here, my home here, my wife here, my fellow hoes here, and AKP wouldn't have provided me with anything.

Yeah people are very understanding here. You can share negative opinions without having a whole herd attack you left and right lol. What you mentioned about not showing if you're triggered is so true. Everyone else is calm which prompts us to be calm as well. It's great! ^^

It makes you realise that you're too deep in it once you let such people affect your life to the point you'd rather leave than stay and I chose the first one because I'd rather have healthy mental health than what I had during my time as a staff member there and being around such people. I've never requested badge here in an official thread but I really hope that people follow the rules and don't give awards team a hard time like they did on AKP.

I hope it's not just like this because it's a small forum because I wouldn't want this experience to be ruined in the future. And I'm honestly so glad there's no bashing thread here. I remember going there a lot and then I'd get triggered for no reason because after all it was my own choice to go there. I felt a lot better after I stopped doing that.

I quit being active on akp about 7 months ago. I have checked it a few times since but im not active at all. No I don’t miss the drama lol and everytime I did check akp it reminds me of why I stopped going on. It used to be fun but too many users ruined it for me tbh and a lot of good users left so its just annoying to be on there on AND boring.
I didnt think I would be active on KPS but its hard to actually get annoyed on here. I like that its smaller as well. And that everyone is really nice!

Towards the end, yeah. It was so bad, I practically forced myself to come online, there were times I just wanted to sleep after work, I didn't even want to go on my PC. It's almost impossible to give out badges on the phone and it took me ages and when I went to visit my boyfriend in another country, he had awful wi-fi and I remember it took me ages to do it but I had no choice, I didn't want to let users down. Maybe I would be still around if it wasn't for all the drama. I was happy though because I really wanted to do it, you know, but I just lost all the motivation, there were times I even wanted to be rude because some people were disrespectful, basically you're just supposed to endure it and take all the beating as a staff member. That's at least what I realised.

Really? Why do you think I first paid attention to Daniel. It was because of his pink hair but I stayed for his personality and how he is.

I wasn't extremely active on AKP, I mostly stalked the threads... and even I noticed how toxic the atmosphere was, lol. Pretty much reminded me why I stopped visiting forums years ago, as it seemed like the place was run by a bunch of angry 10-year-olds based on their messages.

Happy to be here though, the atmosphere is so much friendlier~
