I've seen this floating around for the last few days and I'm surprised no one was talking about it

FRNZ.

FRNZ was registered under Korea’s trademark agency KOPRIS on April 12, 2019. Fans were quick to notice that the FRNZ trademark was filed under class 9 and 41, the most important classes for potential idol groups as it allows the trademark to be used for entertainment activities and for use on digital media such as albums.

Fans also compared the classification codes for FRNZ with SM Entertainment’s 2 most recent debuts: NCT and Red Velvet. They discovered that many of them matched between FRNZ and the 2 groups, providing more hope that the new girl group will be debuting sooner rather than later.

The extra classifications, 5, 27, 38, 39, and 40, are for things like pharmaceuticals (5), floor covers like carpets or rugs (27), telecommunications (38), transport (39), and material treatment (40)

Before we jump on the name, let's remember: SES, TVXQ, DBSK, SNSD, CSJH, NCT

i dont think sm is gonna debut a new gg soon. they did say that in 2019, red velvet and nct will be top priorities. theyre a mysterious and secretive company too. never reveals their trainees or participates in survival shows. if theyre really trying to make a snsd 2.0, i think it will be under wraps more. surely it wont be that easy.

Oh wait, SM has actually trademarked the name FRNZ under the same codes as their groups whereas Spry was trademarked under Sports and Tourism. I'm really hoping that's an acronym. But watch it literally just be "friends" with a funny spelling. I guess we'll be getting more info about them soon and a debut a few months later.

i really hope for an iconic comeback, a well packaged, quality FULL album, an official lightstick, good promotions, a dance practice, and a world tour with us+europe as well as asia before their disbandment. basically everything that sm bgs get but ggs are often neglected of. but then its sm so im asking too much. it would be nice to just see the girls together on stage again.

i prefer something like GLITCH or something catchy. moonlight angels sounds really long and doesnt really come off naturally. kinda hard to remember. but who knows maybe it will stick one the group debuts.

This is a lost year for RV Because of how bad RBB did, unless whatever the comeback is is bigger than Red Flavor was.
They have no songs charting and no albums for the first time in years.
