Heh not that young, and I'm mostly kidding - I know the big ones and I listen to a lot of Spotify and check out new music on the regular, but I mostly like indie pop and electro so weirdly sometimes I miss the biggest hits! It's kinda funny - I'll hear a video has like 300 million views and finally watch it and be like 'ooooo okay I've heard that like 20 times the last month and ignored it'.

I don't know if it began that way when they were children but after everyone started to take it seriously it defiantly was. Back then girl groups were an easier way to get young females noticed and establish a fanbase/public recognition. I feel sorry for Kelly, her own family sorta played her (though they did take her in) but professionally Mr. and Mrs. Knowles knew what they were doing.
