TWICE's Yoo Jung-yeon Signs with Baro Entertainment

Agency, home to sister Kong Seung-yeon and actor Byeon Woo-seok, supports her dual career in music and acting

Yoo Jung-yeon has taken a new leap as an actor by signing an exclusive contract with Baro Entertainment.

I think RV is still active in 12th yr after debut; whereas SNSD/BP go dark(members' grp activities-11th-14th; 16th-19th yrs; for BP almost 10th-??? yr with no indication of OT4 resigning this yr; I'm blink+SONE n I'm ok with this).

I think whoever in TWICE resigns with JYPE(fully or just TWICE grp activities) will follow Apink/Oh My Girl pattern - with consideration of TWICE's popularity; members will get together durjng anniv./comebacks but with individual activities going forward - Dahyun/Chaeyoung/Jeongyeon hv been less active individually unless I missed sthg which I might hv. Nayeon, Jihyo, Tzuyu n MiSaMo are gonna do their own thing in future(outside aforementioned TWICE grp schedule). I don't rmbr if Tzuyu resigned(meaning re-upped with JYPE) but I would expect her to return to her own cou try at some point in near future if she hasn't already n maybe remain a few mths or even longer; she seems least matched to solo activities in SK outside TWICE/JYPE(tho maybe I'm wrong there too). Best of luck to all the gurlies(tho I don't stan TWICE n I no longer hv any favorite member-i kinda lost touch/lost most of my minimal interest except Mina n she hardly has much solo or visible content recently[like last 5/6 yrs at least as it reached my attention; i watched some clips of her(n others) previous to tat but not lately]

BP almost missed 10th anniv. activity. Like 2/4 for a 11 minute online fan meeting for 40 fans & YGE/dispatch suckered outmaneuvered Rosé/Lisa(?) into appearing(my interpretation only) Rosé/Lisamay or may not hv been out of SK when it was announced 2(TWO) FREAKING DAYS before date of 10th Anniversary.

Fans(and haters/pilers on) were not happy(I think haters were happy but lapped as unhappy to pile on hate) n the 11 minute fan meeting was criticised for not meeting expectations(since nobody might read this here I'll state my pov-to paraphrase N**l G**m*n '"BP r not ur b*t*h"'; as applied to GRRM not (yet) completing Game of Thrones bk 6/7.

I agree with this concept: you paid for 5 previous books(or pirated/read it) n no one owes u a guarantee for future work(book 6/7 in GRRM's case; a big splashy 10th anniv. celebration in the other case; if u got it great, if not move on. Which a lot of fans did by closing accts on socmed).

BP gave 30+ songs in 9 yrs; multiple concert tours n appearances; n are thrivingnow in solo activities(which built on BP fanbase but no one could rightly argue against the fact each has drawn from international fanbase/gp/casuals; except Jisoo but she a queen in SK) I don't believe she is performative abt her genuine emotion for her SK fans(or outside; she just reluctant to express in English to int. fans ithink) she a little similar to Taeyeon maybe; her English fluency/understanding/lack surface knowledge of cultural information outside SK make them shy from activities outside SK(with limited exceptions). I'm older now less immature(?) so I accept hv no choice but to say ok: "ur life ur choice"

I wish more kpop fans abided by this concept rather than just mouthing "freedom/justice for idols"(I think its ironic this with BP is at same time as Ariana Grande stepping bk from Limelight slight with media mostly agreeing to give her space! Does any one else see the hypocrisy irony?

Change is a constant and it's always sad to be reminded that times does move on (it makes it all the more important to celebrate the moment) but I do wish Jeongyeon the best of luck in her future endeavours, and in her new company. I hope she will feel at home there and get to spend a lot more time with her family and most important I hope the bond between members of Twice will remain as strong as ever throughout infinity. 💜

This is not the end but a new beginning and while it's bittersweet I look forward to seeing where this new road takes us.

well for all of the BP members plus some of the RV members (Wendy/Yeri) then remain under YGE and SME respectively for group activities but other companies for solo activities

whether the members are active or otherwise depends on their personal proclivities I cannot fault those that want to go their separate directions just as I cannot fault those that wish to remain under their respective groups/companies
each person has their own choices and we as fans "should" support their choices either way

Girls Generation are technically still together and will have their 20th anniversary next year and I think Twice has a stronger bond than most groups, so I think it's pretty safe to say we'll be seeing them around for a long time to come even if they are all in different companies - of course it might not be as frequently and there might not be in-house variety etc but at least we'll occasionally be seeing them together.

I just hope nobody pulls a Sunny and disappears.

Sunny didn't disappear lol. She's back to working for her uncle (Lee Soo Man) at his company. She seems to be producing for their Rookies divisions (LTG and LTB, specifically).

i agree with love RV are Still much more active as a group that SNSD was at 12 years.
They really effort always promoting the group.

Black pink seems to be all but dead as a group. the model worked fantastic to create money and solo fandoms for both YG and the girls.
But to be honest 30 songs is horrific. What ever the secret sauce used for them, any other group with that few songs would be in rocket punch land.

SNSD after Jessica at 7-8 years was still active and the 3( Tiffany, Sooyoung, Seohyun) at 10 years are a group for anniversary's only. Now they are down to just Taeyeon Hyeyeon and Yoona at SM.

We will have to see but i think Twice will be more RV than SNSD.

Her Skills have always lent her to producing/training/ variety.
If you needed one SNSD member to teach idol life Sunny would be it.
