4th gen GGs are outdoing the BGs by a long mile (1 Viewer)

In my opinion the girlgroups that have been debuting in the past year or so have been far superior to the boygroups.
In the past 2 years literally NO new boygroups have caught my eye.
I've been waiting to see a group that makes me WANT to stan them right away.

The girlgroups on the other hand... I've fallen for Pink Fantasy and CRAXY (This one pre-debut for gods sake). IZ*ONE have risen on top of my biaslist faster than I could say "I was supposed to be a Chaeyeon solo stan". Cherry Bullet started out weak but then came out with Hands up which is a MAJOR bop. (G)I-dle has been slaying it as far as a unique sound goes, Everglow could be a tad bit more diverse in their sound but are still slaying it.

I can barely name the boygroups that have debuted in 2018 on, nevermind actually knowing their songs!
SO... can anybody recommend me songs by groups that have debuted in 2018 and later?

EDIT: I thought of a boygroup that has debuted that has been doing quality! ATEEZ! Honestly wanna stan them, but never really got into the mood for it lmao! But beyond that.... ATEEZ seems to be the only one.
EDIT 2: Oneus is good too.... well... their debut and comeback was good, not so sure about lit.

I've also seen you make much more female 18+ threads than you have done.

I've... always been into girlgroups.... Just... smh... My love for Kai and Woozi overshadows the love I have for any other group y'know? Girlgroup OR Boygroup!

Ateez is kinda on my radar among new BGs, not gonna stan them just yet though. I was getting into The Boyz big time especially during Giddy Up/No Air time and then they started putting out bland af music. TXT MAYBE could rise up the rankings for me coz Run Away was a bop, but it's still too soon to tell.

There are 2 new boy groups I'm legit hyped af for though- Treasure
And SuperM

Girl groups have just been a lot more fun to follow. Itzy, Nature, Idle, Fromis, Loona, IZ*ONE, I could go on. Also love the Hinapia girls so hoping their comeback is another bop.
Craxy has my attention visually, I should check out the song lol.

Also came across this nugu soloist yesterday from the same label as ANS- I actually thought she was an ANS member but apparently not. Anyway, her debut was a BOP, check it out!

Also yeah.... txt's debut was eeeeh, but run away was legit amazing! They are being fucked by Bighit refusing to promote them to anybody besides ARMY though....

Speaking of boygroups, there was DKB who debuted this year, they're from Brave Entertainment and seems like Brave Sound has abandoned Brave Girls for good to promote them lol. Their debut is weird- the music is really catchy and choreo is sick, but a lot of song is also cringe. But worth a listen, just for the experience lol.



And I know it's YG so they'll probably face LOOONG hiatuses but Treasure's pre-debut song got me hyped. Plus it's a fresh, youthful concept, not emo so I liked it. Me, @Jichuus and @Baechu (wtf when did he deactivate account ) are ready to stan

The DKB song is nothing I haven't heard a thousand times already...
But when Treasure DOES debut one day I might stan, Mashiho kinda caught my eye in the few episodes I watched of the show and their sound isn't overdone!

LMAO the DKB one I keep recommending coz when I heard that English intro and the passionate MIANHAEE EOMMA I can't help laughing my ass off lol. But I like the beat in between the verses and the way they flip and stuff during the choreo- so extra and unnecessary Idk what I'm watching

I'm hopeful for Treasure, they've been consistently releasing clips and covers and stuff, so I guess they'll debut sometime in April probably? After Winner and BP

I'm very hopeful too! I've never really been into YG groups, but if they keep with the sound they had with Crazy Love I might really be stanning!

I like ATEEZ and loved their recent comeback, though dunno if I'll Stan them yet though but they are on my radar.

As for GGs, there have been so much variety and much more fun than BGs imo but then again, I'm biased towards GGs but I also think it's a fact that GGs have been doing better releases.

I'm actually extremely looking forward to NCT 127 comeback this time, the retro concept and styling looks great, all the teasers and clips from their B-side MVs look really promising too, I hope it's their breakout song this time

Honestly I think SMNGG is the one thing that is DEFINITELY happening! Of all the promised groups to debut, I think SMNGG is the first one in line and it's a matter of days now until we get movement!

SM is currently... really quiet. The only thing going on rn is the NCT 127 comeback, which makes me think they are gearing up to something BIG aka... SMNGG.
