She is way way way too old news for the majority of the kids on here.
other than Summi Chungha IU Taeyeon and i guess Hyuna you would be hard pressed to find much.

She is from the first generation and some acts receive more attention than others because they have more fans here. BoA is with Ailee my favorite female soloist.

It’s the songs by her that I prefer.

The problem with soloists is most people who stan them do so as side interests and that decreases their chances of being talked about because people are going to be inclined to talk about their main interest more.

IU and Taeyeon are the only ones who really get talked about and their stans usually have them as a main interest

she is not from first gen. not really.
first gen is mostly the iconic groups like sechskies, h.o.t. and g.o.d etc. solosist that would be first gen are more like Park Jiyoon and JYP himself. With the first gen groups disbanding, the gen ended. BoA, Rain and Se7en were driving forces until the new gen fully hit it with TVXQ
