I am one of those loons, bought like 15 packets (3 rolls each packet)

I've seen people on video rush buy a pallet or two. That's a lot of TP but I don't know your household size. If it's close to the double digit that doesn't make you crazy.

In UK the shelves for TP are already empty but out of everything I can't really understand WHY toilet paper

It started in Japan. Someone started a rumor that it was going to run out because it was made in China. Which is not true most TP in Japan is made in Japan. THen rather then dying out because it's a stupid lie it continued on.

Then to try to combat this long running rumor someone tried to start a new rumor that corona virus can be carried on TP from China in hopes people returned some TP.

tbh today I was googling why tp... I understand soap (even if people were supposed to wash their hands even before the virus but anyway), but tp? in the worst scenario you can stay at home 14 days... how much a person can use? and in the worst case, there are also tissues

And a moment of silence for those who have not gotten an extra roll of TP or two. With all the loons buying all the TP we'll be soon be going back to leaves.

When we recover from this, we'll know what people will need in a next crisis

We ran out of TP yesturday. Found a few rolls at walmart but this is a large household. Plenty of roommates. So I had to run around looking for more. Big lots sold out, sams club, you name it. Eventually I found some at an off the wall store. But damn that was almost a sht show. If this continues for #2s they are going to have to take some leaves off our tree get what they can off then use TP. Sheeesh

Well if you're out camping you use leaves... ... or you know everyone buys out the TP and you find yourself rationing because of morons... .. that would be a sad day if we had to do taht. But HEY there is no poisen ivy in the city.... ... right?

well here it is for real, we can't find any tp in supermarkets. I went on Saturday and yesterday, absolutely nothing. My housemate found the exact same empty shelves... I heard that they are rationing some products already which is

Yep the count is still low in my country, but the cases have doubled in only two days. From 30 to 60. So maybe it will be 90 tomorrow if this pace is continuing.

Yeah in my state we went from 40 to 91 cases in a day

This is more serious disease than flu though, if you look at China, Italy, Iran they are out of beds for sick plp and whole countries are crippled.
