I didn't really know how to word this properly :nekosweat:

What sort of roles would you like to see being played in a movie/tv series? Have you ever thought of a job and thought that it would be cool to see if from that person's perspective?

I've always wanted to know about police men who work in jails. Specifically people who have to guard prisoners who are seeing visitors. They have the listen to everything and they must hear so many stories, both sad and happy. I've always wanted to know what they were thinking or if they've ever been moved by anything they've heard.

I would like less 1 dimensional good characters.

Folks love a flawed bad guy that they can redeem but very few spend the effort to wright good one who, while also flawed work to choose good.
I think Harry Dresden is a nice and refreshing change.

I would add to @dimpledsoobin that I would prefer such roles, but also roles that feature Gay Men in ways that isn't oversexed and conforms to stereotypes. Basically a gay guy who doesn't go clubbing, hates fashion, and is wildly crass... Like a gay version of Seth Rogan.

Also, the redemption thing in movies and tv is done to death. Not everyone can be redeemed. Some people, while harboring some good qualities, refuse to change and as such remain evil. Others are good because they fall in love with someone who is good and as soon as that foothold is gone they become evil again.. Some people are just evil. Period.

Omg yes. I'm so over the gay, lesbian etc stereotypes. I also agree with the redemption thing as well. Very overly done.

I would like more honest bi/pansexual characters that aren’t made out to be cheaters due to their sexuality. A good example where that didn’t happen for once is Magnus Bane from Shadowhunters.

Good disability representation! Like where the show addresses their disability but doesn’t make the entire show revolve around the person being disabled!

To add on to that, I’d also like to see disabled characters that aren’t exceptionally good at anything but just kinda regular. I think a lot of times when you see disabled people on tv they have to be super good at something to kind of justify their place there.
