Jennie did a photoshoot for Marie Claire. Not surprised as BlackPink's March comeback was pushed back (as always).

I usually don't count photoshoots more or less than other members as unfair treatments as usually the brand chooses what member they want to collab/represent the brand and Jennie of course gets pushed a lot by YG so it's no surprise that brands are going for the 'it' girl of the group.

BUT
Turns out that Jennie collabed with Gentle Monster and designed her own sunglasses.
As far as I'm aware, none of the other members have had the chance to design their own stuff individually.

That being said, I love that she made a collection of glasses and not the typical perfume or lipstick or whatever.
Even though these sunglasses are not my style, I hope she gets the opportunity to create more (that maybe fit me)

I'm certain that a majority of the people pushing this narrative don't really want the others to have more, they just want Jennie to have less (not the op but in general). It's gotta be frustrating to get backlash for every single thing you do when you aren't allowed to much in the first place. She went solo first had a good month of being decently promoted, that's the only significant thing she has over the other girls.

She's the only main rapper that gets hate for rapping, the only lead vocal that gets hate for singing and the only center that gets dragged for standing anywhere near the middle.
Powerful but it definitely can't be healthy to constantly be on the receiving end of that
