I was in trouble as i really liked the bulk of the 20 finalist. Each had much i was very fond of.
The picks i posted were from a 6-6 split (from original reports on the voting this was a bad plan considering the number of trainees 8/4-7/5 would have been more accurate..) going off the ep 11 vote.
of the 12 who made it 8 were solid picks from the end of ep 2 on.
I nailed the j line as firm picks :) . I liked Miyu, Miru (but all week had been reading that NMB pulled the plug on her) and Juri really really wanted Hitomi to make it.

Loved Eunbi , Yena, Wonyoung, Yujin, Chaeyeon from the start. was kinda emotionally invested in Kaeun at the beginning.

As time passed i started drifting fro Kaeun and the older J girls as they really did not fit a young group. The J line were exposed in the last mission especially as not really ready to like go full on kpop in a month.

Minju and Chaewon were on my rise list, Minju was the true Sohye of the as the girl who just improved so much. They we still a bit of a suprise and i knew when they were called that the number of j members would be tiny compared to ep 11.

of the final 12 Hyewon and Yuri were probably my upset and surprised winners. I had Yuri as 3rd best among the main vocals left.

Miyu was the J member i felt most sad for.


As to the vote rigging first off the group they picked ended up being magic. I can not see any other combination working as well as this has.
I would like to know if as some published they started rigging in ep 8, as it would make understanding the voting easier.

if the rigging only happened in ep 12 i would assume the ep 11 ranking terrified them. of the 8 Japanese trainees left 7 were in that 12. That group was OLD. and really would have had to be carried in Korea by Kaeun, Eunbi, Chaeyeon and Wonyoung. Eunbi would have had to be main Miyu was no where near ready (we are in love now made that crystal clear)
old girl crush/ sexy would have been about all the concept they could do and Wonyoung was 14. The wotas figured out how to break the voting.
That ep 11 group was a bad kpop group in that the pieces were just all wrong.

So while i really like most of the girls any group would have needed to be put together carefully.

girls needing a 2nd chance .. i would take Eunbi and Chaeyeon first 2 every time. Kaeun , Miyu and Miho also are this story line.
j line as exists with either Miru , Miyu or Juri.
leaving out the starship 2 and yena would be just crazy even not knowing what we know now. that is 9
gotta have a main vocal for 10 so Yuri , Haeyoon, or Chowon
now pick 2 Chaewon, Minju, Kaeun, Hyewon, Miu or you to some extra from above.

I would go with what we have now with Miyu for hyewon and chowon for yuri. That would have been a mistake.
As aside from skills the chemistry from those 2 has proved to be key.

ngl same , i really liked kaeun at the start but i gradually liked the other finalists more towards the end of the series

agreed , even though the show was rigged , the line up was pretty solid and iz*one wouldn't have been iz*one if not for the members.

also , i heard that the top 20 was already decided from the start

I was watching the Akb showroom ep (at the time there were translated version (still annoyed that i didnt save em.) Chaewon was crazy popular among the akb members. If you want to see just hyped emotion the stream of the 3 members when snack teams won is fun. or when Hitomi was called.

Fan accounts of meeting the girls were filled with praise for her, even to the point that folks went to see other girls but switched to her.
I loved her in ITNW and Wish but, she was so far down (although she was top 20 for most of the show) i just did not see a spot for her.

i could not even begin to know how much i would come to love 2 kim.
